Horsemanship lessons and clinics
There are a number of ways you can train with AY Horsemanship. The type of training required very much depends on what you're trying to achieve with your horse.

Level 2 Approved WES Instructor
I am a Level 2 WES-approved instructor working with riders and horses from local/novice level through to competent combinations. My passion for western riding came during a college placement with Carol Taylor and Adalberto Barberini. At my private yard, I have a round pen, a sand surface indoor school and great hacking.
From this base in Wakefield, West Yorkshire, I offer one-to-one or group lessons. I am also willing to travel to give lessons and I frequently host clinics at other yards in the UK. My speciality is focusing on connection and relationship on the ground and into the saddle to create a partnership that is able to maintain a rhythm while remaining balanced and soft.
Whether you and your horse are new to western riding or a seasoned professionals, I can help you gain confidence and prepare you for competition in all WES show classes.
